I think it is a good poem. I don't see any mistakes, but the phrase "couch takers" doesn't really sound right in the poem. Is there anothe way to say the phrase?
I think it might depend on if you want the "couch taker" to be good or bad. I love the "spot warmer" but I'm thinking of a dog who jumps on the couch right when you wanted to sit there. I love this poem, though--the two word lines are really descriptive and cool. Makes me want a dog!
